SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Removal of CRR bids between BRP_ZPT1_RN and BRP_ZPT2_RN from the 2025.SEP.Monthly.Auction and the 2027.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq5

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders and Counter-Parties

DAY AFFECTED:  August 21, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Two settlement points, BRP_ZPT1_RN and BRP_ZPT2_RN, should have been designated as Electrically Similar Settlement Points (ESSPs) for the 2025.SEP.Monthly.Auction and the 2027.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq5, but were not designated as such in the original ESSPs files. Therefore, the Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) system erroneously allowed submission of bids between those settlement points. Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol 7.5.2.3 (6):    

1. ERCOT has removed bids between BRP_ZPT1_RN and BRP_ZPT2_RN that were submitted for the 2025.SEP.Monthly.Auction.    
2. CRR Account Holders (CRRAHs) should remove any submitted bids between BRP_ZPT1_RN and BRP_ZPT2_RN for the ongoing 2027.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq5. Any bids that remain between BRP_ZPT1_RN and BRP_ZPT2_RN after the 2027.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq5 auction bid window closes will be removed by ERCOT. 

Impacted CRRAHs that have had CRR bids removed by ERCOT will be notified via email.
